There are many words to describe the spectacular city of Paris, France; a city that's picture perfect just about everywhere you turn. Every square inch of this city is seeping with history and beauty - from the awesome architecture and the myriad of museums to the fabulous French cuisine, culture, fashion, and art; Paris is unlike any other city in the world.
We've all seen the iconic Eiffel Tower, Paris' pièce de résistance, in pictures and in films, but when you witness this majestic structure in person, that's when it hits you: you're in Paris! The Eiffel Tower stands 984 feet tall and its peak is visible from all over the city. The tower offers an impressive 360 degree view of all of Paris from its highest level. At night, this world famous structure glitters and sparkles with lights; a romantic view for any couple strolling through the city.

The best way to soak up the sites is to hop on a bus tour. The double-decker bus tours provide a fun and easy way to get around the city and stop at the many site locations. If something interests you at one stop, like Mona Lisa's smile at the Louvre Museum or the beautiful glass-stained windows and stone gargoyles at the Notre Dame cathedral, then stay as long as you like. Buses pass by every ten minutes. They offer commentary via headphones giving one a chance to learn about Paris' vast history. Another great way to experience the city's splendor is cruising down the Seine River on a dinner cruise. Two can cozy up while they enjoy the sites and the sunset along the banks of the Seine River - a famous romantic backdrop commonly seen in Parisian pictures.
A good day in Paris should start off with a café au lait, a warm baguette, and a pain au chocolat at the many bakeries located all over the city. A must-have is the Macarons, a delicious French delicacy, which is one of the signature sweets of the French pastry restaurant Laduree. They come highly recommended! A romantic dining atmosphere is easy to find in Paris. There are plenty of restaurants and shops along the famous Champs-Élysées where two can stroll through the long strip and find their way to a table for two facing the stunning Arc de Triomphe at its western end.

Feeling artsy? Visit Montmartre, a hill-top district in the north of Paris where many working artists have resided, including Monet, Picasso, Van Gogh, and Dali. Stone-cobble streets are crowded with painting artists selling and showcasing their works. Not only are visual artists found here, but street performers of all kinds are, too. All this excitement surrounds the beaming white Sacré-Coeur Catholic basilica that stands tall at Montmartre's highest point.
Shopaholics: beware! Paris is a shopper's dream. Parisian haute couture shops include Cartier, Chanel, Christian Dior, Yves Saint Laurent, Louis Vuitton, and much, much more. Department stores, like Printemps and Galeries Lafayette, sit side-by-side where you can spend hours spending.

Feeling fashionably French in your new outfit, you can get ready for a night out on the town with your honey in hand and head to the Latin Quarter, a vibrant nightlife scene where you can find bistros, bars, and boutiques. For some nightly entertainment, visit the Lido or the Moulin Rouge, both being spectacular cabaret-style dinner revues.
The city of Paris is magical. L'amour between two people is easy to feel in a city as romantic as this one. I can go on and on describing this enchanting city and for those that have not yet been there, I can assure you, it is more beautiful than you might imagine.
